Going Places
Maintaining independence doesn’t mean residents have to drive everywhere themselves. Our comprehensive transportation program is designed to keep residents connected to the places and services that matter most. Whether attending a campus event, running errands, or heading to important appointments, professional drivers provide safe, reliable transportation—allowing residents to ride stress-free without the hassle of navigating traffic or searching for parking!
Campus Shuttles
Campus Shuttles are provided for select events happening throughout the campus. Drivers offer this as a door-to-door service, with pick up and return directly to your home.
Grocery Shuttles
Grocery Shuttles provide transportation to a variety of grocery stores throughout the Thurston County area. This service is also door-to-door, with pickup and drop-off directly at residents’ homes for added ease and comfort.
Grocery Assistance Program
The Grocery Assistance Program supports residents who need help picking up and delivering online grocery orders from Fred Meyer or Safeway. Additional assistance is available for those who require help placing online grocery orders.
Resident Transit
Resident Transit is a service sponsored by the Resident Council and staffed by Panorama resident volunteers. This service provides transportation for both Assisted Living and Independent Living residents to destinations across the Panorama campus.
Local Activities & Event Bus
Our Lifestyle Enrichment bus provides transportation for residents and resident groups to local activities, events, theaters, restaurants, and more. Featured trips are highlighted in the Panorama Newsletter and are open to all residents.
Church Shuttles
Church Shuttles provide weekly transportation to a variety of congregations throughout the Lacey/Olympia area. This door-to-door service includes pickup and return directly to each resident’s home and is available every Sunday.
Private Bus Transportation
Private Bus Transportation is available by request for resident hobby or personal interest groups. Fees vary based on the distance to the event location. Scheduling is subject to driver and bus availability.
Personal Transportation
Personal Transportation is available for medical or personal appointments and can accommodate 1 to 3 passengers per trip. Fees are determined by the number of passengers, service type, mileage, and waiting time. For transportation requests over 20 round-trip miles, service is limited to medical appointments only and will include applicable waiting fees.
