Families with school-age kids spend hundreds of dollars on school supplies every year. Basic school supplies can bust a struggling family’s budget. Having all the tools of learning bundled into a cool backpack can go a long way to helping a child in need start the school year with confidence.
The entire month of July, Panorama is sponsoring a School Supplies Drive to give residents and staff an opportunity to donate back-to-school items for Thurston County children in need. All supplies collected will be donated to the Little Red School House and the South Sound Reading Foundation to support the county-wide Distribution Day on August, 16.
